What?  Are they fully anesthetizing you?  That seems extreme for carpal tunnel surgery...

Waiting for an alpha build of 5 different applications to complete so I can start testing before merging to the main branch. I've been working on this project off and on for months, I'll be glad when it's over.

Home with one-quarter of the office party cake feast, which is now reduced to one-eighth as my daughter and I scarfed down half of the remainder already. By popular demand I left an equal amount of leftover cake in the fridge at work for people to eat tomorrow.

Sorted my junk mail into the recycling bin and got briefly nostalgic for the days when I actually wanted something out of the Canadian Tire flyer -- minimalism definitely puts a crimp in one's shopping style.  Didn't even bat an eye at the power tools.

My clarinet gear is parked at the back door, ready for Wednesday night band practice -- and after that, the second party of the day.

Well, the interview went much better than I thought at first. Got a call from them this morning, which I thought was going to be the "Thanks, but no thanks" call and got invited back for a second interview. This time for a better paying position that hasn't even been advertised yet! So, no competition.

But, the downside... I cut my hair for the initial interview, only to find out the owner sported a pony tail until just a couple years ago. Now I've got three years work to do over again.

Oh, well. At least I can grow it out again.

Turned out to be a "twilight sleep" type of sedation. Way better than the left hand surgery. I wasn't woozy and could walk out under my own power, today. Last time I had to have a wheelchair, I was so ripped.   I have informed my family that I ain't doing any cooking this time. I got the bandage pretty dirty last time, and it had to be changed before the week was over.

Just had a bit of a snack, did a bit of a stretch and in about 20 minutes I'm off to do a bit of gym. We'll see whether my cardio ability has improved since Sunday when I walked about a half a mile and nearly fainted.

Also, thinking of trying a splashy watercolor tonight - since my shower time now no longer includes things like hair-washing and virtually all shaving is unneeded I've got more evening time Just need to find my cheapy brushes and my masking fluid.
