That sounds so good.... I think I'll have brocco-ched soup tonight for dinner now... See how persuadable I am? It's a fault, it really is.

I hate Daylight Savings. I went on my lunchtime walk an hour early today because my workphone time didn't update, I got back and thought everyone in the office was having lunch an hour late - NOPE!
And now that I know my phone clock is running an hour fast I keep looking at it thinking it's almost time to go, just an hour left until work is over today.... NOPE. TWO HOURS. GAH!!
I finally stuck a bright pink post it over my work phone time that says WRONG! so I stop looking at it.

Drinking a cup of tea, and preparing to venture back out into the cold to go to my Monday afternoon clarinet lesson.
Afterwards I intend to hurry back home at ludicrous speed and try to keep warm, as the overnight forecast is for a wind chill of -25.
In early November, no less.

I dunno what it's like in your area of the country, but NH is near the edge of the Eastern/Atlantic timezone boundary. So, when we fall back, it gets dark in a hurry. Sunset was ~4:30 this evening, and will be ~4:10 at its worst next month. It's so freaking dark and cold most of the time, it's literally depressing.
NH, Massachusetts, and some of the other New England states are talking about joining the Atlantic timezone, but with no DLS changes during the year. I'm all for it.

The time change happens at the Eastern Oregon border so we stay late until 4:30 in the deepest depths of winter. Still, it sucks.
My work phone has updated which is amazing. Usually it takes weeks to update.

It's pretty similar here. Sunset is 4:49 today, by the early part of December, it'll be at 4:27. Sunrise will be almost 8am in a few weeks.
The time change sucks. I don't care if it's dark when I leave for work, but it would be nice to have a little daylight when I get home.

It's all good, we try to sneak in a short trip South at least one or two times a winter.
Currently pretty drunk, atypical for me. I probably should slow down.
