Yeah, we broke the chicken's spirit in the end...
It's amazing how easy they talk after just 5 seconds in a deep fryer!
But we did get all the dirt on Trump's Russian collusion ... so it's death wasn't in vain.
I had a wing and a thigh ... lovely.
Wait for it............................. a little birdy told me. Stool pigeon!

Just spent the last hour filling out disability forms for my redetermination review with SSA. Off in the mail they go. Gotta get prescriptions filled, pay rent, mail things, and accomplish other adulting stuffs today.

When it was really sore, though, resting the arch on a small ice pack was quite soothing.
You were able to beat it? I've had it for nearly ten years now, maybe I should revisit this with my doc if it's possible to fix it.
I tried babying the foot, keeping weight off it. Wasn't getting anywhere. Tried the counter-intuitive approach, making the fascia stretch, and that was what did the trick. If you try this, take it in small increments because the condition has been in place for a long time.

Just finished an awesome interview. Going to be really disappointed if I don't get an offer on this one. For a change, my diverse skill set was a huge bonus instead if being a non or even slightly negative factor. And, it'll double my annual income with just a little (paid) overtime! And I do mean a little, as in 51-1/4 hours in a year. I've had jobs where I did more OT than that in a single pay check Since they're talking about 50-60 hour weeks to start, it's looking like I'll get that little extra right up front.

True story. A guy was solo for a couple of days when his wife was at a conference. When she got back, she noticed that he hadn't consumed much beer when she was gone, and asked why. He said, "That's my listening juice".
BoT, I'm back on the 'net. We had a new water main line installed yesterday, and the plumbers cut the coaxial cable, thinking it was a sprinkler pipe. It was shielded in some strange looking dark gray plastic tubing, not sprinkler pipe like I've ever seen. The whole block had no phone land line, internet or cable TV for over 24 hours. People were probably lobotomizing themselves with Bic pens in frustration.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Keeping 'em crossed for you TGB,
I understand the "diverse skillset" point all too well! Had more than one employment agent look at my resumé and say something like, "What the hell do I point you at!"
