RE: What's everyone up to right now?
December 3, 2017 at 6:18 pm
I'm on the downward slope of a duty weekend -- my first working with our company's other operations manager rather than the one I normally draw on such weekends.
Now the guy I worked with this weekend is a good man; I like him; and he really knows his stuff. But anal? Fuck me! He's driving me crazy.
So I'm thinking about how to break it to my usual operations manager (a friend in real life) tomorrow morning that he is never to take another vacation so long as he and I are on the same weekend rotations, or I may have to kill him. It's the difference between working with a competent version of The Dude versus working with a cross between Felix Unger and a drill sergeant.

Has the "Watch the Paint Dry" channel broadcast been interrupted?

And that channel is better than test match cricket.

Planning out trip to LA Abilities Expo. Maybe Lakers v. Dallas or Kings v. Edmonton on the side.

Yea !! Go TEAM !!!
Also, first time ever, trying out the self clean feature on new stove. LOL, had it quite a while and was very careful about spills and such in the oven but recently was baking a lasagna (not for me!, JFC, don't need that!) and it ran over. Been getting a consistent burnt cheese aroma so best to incinerate the mess.
Timer shows 3 hours, so we'll see how it works soon enough.
LOL, stove is releasing an enormous amount of heat !
Way more than old stove.
It was so warm the 'emergency back up' turn on the exhaust fan feature of the microwave oven above the stove has activated twice now.
It's not going to set the house on fire, but it really warmed up the kitchen.

That'll leave a fine coat of ash that should wipe right off. Beats using Easy-Off®, I can tell you!
