Summertime band is now in rehearsal on Saturday mornings, so I now have *three* sets of clarinet music on the go (one for regular season, which is winding up two weeks from today; one for the summer session; and one for my Monday lessons, also winding up for the season in a few weeks). To balance things out a bit, not playing flute or sax in any ensembles for a while.
Spent about four hours this afternoon doing gazebo demolition. Three of the five roof trusses are now down, the screen door is off, and as a bonus I managed to remove a snowstorm-damaged tree limb that has been dangling ominously over the back yard for a while. Plan is to go half-and-half with the neighbours to get the other broken branches pruned sometime soon.
And after all this mayhem, went out to the coffee shop to do some quality Nothing.

Old fart early rising. Kind of like the house when it's quiet and I don't have to worry about the lawn.

Just finished work.
Today I cooked and cleaned at different places all day.
Looking forward to tomorrow where I just get to drive a bus around all day and drink coffee.

Waiting while my wife gets her hair colored at the salon. I'm going to take advantage of that to get a conditioning treetment.
Then we're heading to Seattle for her surgery tomorrow.
"My wife". I'm just really getting used to it. I like it.
