This may ruin my sleep.
When I was on travel for extended periods, I ran my rental car through the car wash, and even cleaned the wheels and waxed the thing. One has to have pride in their ride, as I told my fellow travelers. Some of them didn't clean their rental cars (EVER), and didn't take them in for service, way beyond the recommended service interval. I consider that kind of behavior disgusting (low level). Just shows to go ya, some people value other people's property not at all.

Speaking of which. The mustang has never seen rain or even a spit.
I've changed the windscreen washer pump twice now as it has seized becauseof no use!
(I think more accurately water gets in and rusts the pump motor via a dry/hardened seal)
(I only find out during a roadworthy to change plates)

Packing. Tomorrow I start my week long cross country trip. I fly to DC from California, and drive back for a week. Should be good.

Feeling pretty optimistic.
My weight loss program is on track.
My youngest stepson has a 50/50 chance of being accepted into a new Job Corps program that ultimately leads to a 4 year degree. If he doesn't win that coin flip, he's almost guaranteed to get into one of the existing training programs.

Kind of defeats the purpose of having one.
My 'stang has been through mud, ended up covered in so much dust you'd think it was a Holden abandoned on the side of the highway, and been driven through torrential rain.
My beastie sees all weather and always ends up immaculate afterwards.
