I like the look of tin, but it wouldn't really suit the vision I have for this room.  When I redid the kitchen I was seriously considering a tin ceiling, but due to the cost I went with a 2x2 suspended ceiling with plain white tiles instead.

I saw something in a coffee shop a few months ago that made me go "Yeah, that's what I want for the study ceiling."  It
was plain white slats about 3" wide, kind of like siding or tongue-and-groove pine.

That's another really nice look. I like tongue and groove wood work. Kind of nautical, so not suited to our house that is about 15 miles (as the crow flies) from the Pacific Ocean.

Watching Twins baseball and cleaning up the metadata in my music library in preparation for importing it into Plex media server.

I've got a lot of music and even with automated tools, it's a long slow process which will probably take a long time to complete. Fortunately the metadata on the stuff I ripped myself is known correct.
