Weird. I received a defective eSATA/USB drive enclosure from Amazon that I ordered along with an eSATA cable to connect it. When I tried to return both, Amazon was going to give me back the price of the enclosure ($7.99) minus a $0.50 shipping fee. Since they weren't going to give me any back on the cable (it was free after a "courtesy credit" they gave me for reporting a listing error), I canceled out of that and redid the return with just the enclosure, no cable. Returned without the cable, they didn't charge me the $0.50 shipping fee and I get the full $7.99 back. Queer and mysterious, Mr. Frodo!
