Why is it that your doctor can be as late as they want, but if you are 5 minutes late they refuse to see you? This is bullshit. My appointment was scheduled for 1pm. It's now 2:15. I'm gonna go bitch.

Doctors run late because their appointments run long. They're typically given 15 minutes with each patient and that's rarely enough to time with a patient to deal with their complaint so they are constantly running late. But think of it this way: I'd rather have a doctor who runs late but gives every patient (including me) the time they need to be seen and treated than a doctor who is always on time but never gets the full picture on their patients' conditions because they're rushing.

TLDR: Make doctor's appointments as early in the morning/in their shift as you can and be on time.

Well, what happened was that they scheduled 4 people for my time slot with the same doctor. I was second in line. They took the first guy back at 1:05. They didn't see me until 2:20. They spent over an hour with him and I barely got ten minutes with the doctor. How's this at all right?

Finished preparing my music collection for import into the PLEX media server. Testing with an import of a chunk of about 500 albums. It's looking pretty clean so far, with only a few corrections needed, but it takes a lot of time for PLEX to index and find things like album art for those albums. This is maybe 15-20% of my collection, so I look forward to a lot of waiting as I check each section individually, then do it all again for the final import of everything.
