She's lost a lot of muscle mass and they don't think she would survive such a surgery.
It's going to be a very bad day today and I have to pick her up from the emergency vet and take her to my regular vet so that she can be PTS.
I'm very sorry.
It's a tough decision to have to make but when it's the right thing to do we have to do it.

Bummer Joods. Condolences.

Major *hugs*
Went through something similar with one of my pups with hemangiosarcoma. By the time we realized something was wrong, which was only a few days, there was nothing we could do but watch or put her to sleep. She was barely 5 years old
I'm so sorry you and your fur baby are going through this. It's the right decision, but a terrible one to make.

So sorry Joods.
I think the hardest part is waiting with them til the very end.
Cause only one thing could be worse and that's them dying alone in a foreign place with unknown people.
Even better is to have a vet come to your house.

Heart breaking news Joods...
If I can change the subject the biggest game of the year is our Aussie rules footy grand final next week. (It's so big the Friday before is a public holiday!)
Tonight was my team's toughest game yet to make it to the grand final.
Anyway, The Collingwood Magpies (pies), have a new star recruit fresh from Texas. He won man of the match tonight and kicked 3 goals to boot.
His mom and dad flew in from Texas last night to watch him play. The Magpie army was so excited by his strong marks that chants of USA USA USA were heard in the 94 thousand strong crowd! His name is Mason Cox ... So looking forward to next week. No doubt mom and dad will stay till then.
No God, No fear.

Drinking some alcohol before bed.
Just one more night of work before I get the weekend off. Hopefully, my bike will be repaired by Monday.

Okay... here's an update: I just spent the last two hours at her regular vet office. We are not euthanizing today. They strongly feel like she has lymphoma, which I've been told, can be treated (not cured) with steroids. She can improve and feel better. We are trying this option. They will keep her today and start her on meds and try different foods on her to see what she tolerates. So all hope is not lost. They did say that if she still doesn't feel better in a few days then well will discuss euthanizing but only as a last resort at this time.
I went in there completely devastated, thinking I was going to have to put her down. She still isn't out of the woods yet, but there is some hope and that's what I'm going to hang on to.

So sorry, Joods. I don't know that there is anything I can say to console you. The only thing is to be grateful for the time she was with you.

That's not. That's ridiculous and responsibility should fall on the person scheduling appointments.

I don't get into football, at all, but I'm getting every man and his dog asking me what team I'm going for.
When I tell them I'm not into football it dumbfounds them like they can't believe what they're hearing.
So could you please tell me what the two teams are next week and tell me what team I'm should tell them I'm going for.
It's funny, tell them I'm an atheist and no-one bats an eyelid.
Tell them I'm not into football and they're ready to send me off to the looney bin.
