Nico just took first in his division at the trial.

Finally worked up the courage to ask my boss at the store if I could put the accounting classes I’ve been working on to good use for an internship, at the prodding of my therapist. He said yes, and he’ll have a space set up for me to categorize transactions for a proper accountant for tax purposes by November 5. I am simultaneously excited and terrified at the prospect.
Then again, given that, immediately upon the talks ending, I had to deal with a rush of kids, some of whom needed to have the totals they owed shouted at them multiple times, and one (about ten years old) who needed several minutes for us to explain that she can’t pay for 55 cents’ worth of candy with 50 cents, I think this may end up a welcome change.

Sent Rob to the store for cake mix and a dozen eggs. He comes back with both and a receipt for them that's literally two feet long. 😐
