The other two happened because of followup blows. That said, if I keep getting nasal blockage this big, I may need to see an otolaryngologist.

"Squeal like my daddy!" Instead of "squeal like a piggy"?

Clarinet lesson this evening. After I got home, I trimmed the sheet of drywall that I brought in yesterday. All I need to do to it now is cut a couple of holes for electrical boxes, but that's fussy work and I'm leaving it for early tomorrow evening.
And speaking of fussy work, I spent about an hour working with my music software. The current project is to make a more sensible-looking version of an arrangement of Greensleeves. It' s done as a canon, with six different clarinet parts overlapping in weird ways plus cues for other instruments, and you can't turn around without tripping over a crescendo or decrescendo mark. Bloody less-than and greater-than signs everywhere. All I want is a version that I can read, dammit!

If I still had it, I could send you the version we were given in 7th grade band: few crescendo or decrescendo marks, or much of anything else that could be mistaken for dynamics -- except, of course, the instruction that, translated from the Italian, means 'barnyard animal noises'.
It's possible we misread that.

I wouldn't be so sure -- A few years ago we worked on a piece called "Zooveniers," and at one point there were instructions to make seal noises. (claps hands and goes "Ork! Ork! Ork!")

Many years ago, in a brass band, a piece called for a horse whinny and I had to hold all three valves down half way, start up high and then shake the shit out of the trumpet as I pulled it down.
Anyway, can't hear Greensleeves as a Canon.
Yeah, just tried to look up a version and couldn't find one done as a canon.
Greensleeves has always struck me as the sort of song that would sound good with those English medieval instruments and drums, sung by a troubadour. :-)
