Okay, it looks like the bag may be a bit smaller than expected, and the Trrainspotting blu-Ray is actually a bare-bones Canadian edition with no special features and not the American one that has them. At least it’s the thought that counts, and I’m liking the Black Mirror book so far.

I think I’m going to put my feet up for a while and watch an old movie.
Not that anyone cares but it’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
If you have to lie to bolster your argument, it’s time to rethink the validity of the argument.

I love that movie. Sadly, I think I may need to replace my copy, since, upon recent viewing, the disc just stops working properly after about 50 minutes (midway through the "Bergin" scene.) If I'm lucky, it might start skipping randomly throughout the rest of the movie. If not, it'll just keep whirring until it finally goes back to the menu.
And now we primed a copy of the proper Blu-Ray of Trainspotting (the US version with the special features) and this bag. It's bigger than the one I got earlier today, and it looks hardier, and most damningly, it even cost less. We plan to return the other one because of it. If it was like $10, it might be a good auxiliary, but it's $23 and, so we're going to return it so it can be bought by some other poor bugger.

It is pretty small, but given that one is a Blu-ray of one of my favorite 90s films, another is a reference guide to one of my favorite series, and the last one is a replacement for a library bag I’ve been using for close to a decade (even if it is a bit smaller than expected), I suspect I’ll get quite a bit of mileage from them.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY brother!
Hope your day was amazing!

Well, apart from two of the three presents not being what was expected (Dad is Priming the replacements and plans to return the bag), and my accidentally leaving my streamer at home for the celebratory L. Woods Birthday Dinner, it was. Well, when they come, I'll do a Take Two picture.
And now for the tradition that has defined my birthday since I got the ATHF vol. 3 DVD:
...29 Bells!
Still, I've got another package ready... and it's the Criterion DVD of one of my Dad's favourite films (at least, I think it is). I will only say that it's on Criterion and that I hope it doesn't get... chilly.
Oh, and I found the model bag I actually got. They actually say it's good for carrying around a drum set, but my Dad suspects it'd only last about 2 gigs in that capacity. This one looks sturdier and is closer to the size of Library bag I'm used to.

Happy Birthday, Rev!
BoT, I've been without power for most of the day. Scheduled maintenance that we didn't get notified for.

Currently running a scientific (?) experiment regarding rhe effects of cannabinoids and ethanol when used as adjuncts and what not.
Recording observations is proving problematic.

Morning coffee and listening to the soundtrack to the movie "The Crow." I was too lazy to hunt down something new this morning, and I didn't want something old, so I split the baby and am listening to a smorgasbord of multiple artists.

Lunch. Flavored pinto beans slathered in spicy BBQ sauce. Then it's off to a meeting of the Humanists of MN and a presentation about how to deal with the mental health challenges such as depression which often present themselves during the winter, and especially over the holidays. And then of course, it's back home to watch football! Glorious!
