Special kitty brush designed to remove shedding hairs.

My cat wouldn't let me any where near him with a brush.. Mind you, he is a bit anti social.

My cat is also pretty anti social but loves to be brushed and will flop from one side to the other so you don't miss a spot.  But go to pet him or scratch his chin and be prepared for teeth and/or claws.

Cats are weird.

I'm like that if you try to touch my belly button. I'm fine with chest, groin, neck anywhere.. but stay away from the fluffy hole Smile

My trip to the grocery store was kind of made a bit less than ideal when it turned out that I misplaced my earbuds. Eventually, after disassembling my bed, I found them about a third of the way between the head and foot.

And now for the status of my year-long resolution to watch some of the worst films ever made (note: to be eligible for this project, the film has to be A: on TVTropes "So Bad It's Horrible/Film" subpages, and B: available on DVD or Blu-Ray at my local library, so infamously bad films that aren't on the list will not be part of it). Expect me to talk about Bio-Dome at some point this week. However, the existence of Holmes and Watson and my search for a copy of Master of Disguise reminded me of the need to check on whether or not the films on the list are still available, and what new releases I'll have to deal with at some point.

Films removed:
  • Turn it Up: a 2000 vehicle for Pras, Ja Rule, and Jason Statham that, well I don't know much about it, except from what I read on the page, and that pretty much proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Pras' talent was pretty much worthless without someone like Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, or ODB backing him up. Delisted from the library catalogue.
  • Hansel and Gretel: Warriors of Witchcraft: a film that apparently is a mockbuster of Hansel and Gretel: Witchhunters, which wasn't all that memorable itself, but is apparently Twilight done even more boring. Delisted as well.
  • Hoodwinked Too: For some reason, I put it on the list (specifically the sequels list that I may or may not cover, but probably not because the regular list already has more films than there are weeks in the year and I would prefer to do one per week), but I haven't seen the original (making it less likely for me to try it out) and that's not in the catalogue, so I figured that should be off too.
Films to be added:
  • Last Ounce of Courage: A shitty "War on Christmas" film that Brad Jones thoroughly trounced, but, for no properly explained reason, only added to the page about a week ago.

  • Holmes and Watson: I am waiting for the DVD release. I want to be able to pause this film to recover from the bullshit, and that's not possible in the theater.
  • Kinky: A shitty ripoff of Fifty Shades of Grey. Let me repeat that: a shitty ripoff... of Fifty Shades of Grey... which had all but run its course when the film adaptation of the first book was announced, let alone now. Also, it's been compared to Tyler Perry, except without the comedic segments. So far, I'm picturing this:

Except with a lot of BDSM and less Christianity. Waiting for when it comes on DVD because it's had its theatrical run anyway.
  • Norm of the North 2: Yes, this shitty film about Rob Schneider as a twerking polar bear who goes to New York to aid in the destruction of his own home under the guise of saving it, one of those films that exist only to keep kids quiet for 90 minutes and even failed in that department if some reviews are any indication is apparently getting a sequel... somehow. And it looks even worse.

Enjoying a snow day. Though I hope we don't get too many more, lest we shorten this summer more than it's already been shortened. *sigh*

Went to work and the good news is we're finally back on track to my internship. The bad news is I'm now doing the most stultifying work I've ever had to do for this job. We went on the boss' Walgreens vendor page and I had to go to a bunch of products sold under a particular vendor in a bunch of categories and download 52-week excel spreadsheets for sales and product flow, whatever that is. I managed to do all the work for our biggest vendor (I want to say it's United Nonfabrics) and I had to keep downloading excel spreadsheets for all these products and rename them and file them in their specific folders for 2 1/2 hours. Collecting data that might make no sense in context to people other than me is nothing new to me (seriously, I spent a lot of time the other day researching input impedance so I can get the most of my piezo pickup for my guitar), but being so unable to understand what exactly I'm doing makes it all kind of boring. I need to rest.

Watching the news, trying not to think about Tanner at the pet hospital all alone with an IV in his arm and no one to love on him.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Hopefully Nanners is sound asleep right now because he feels so much better than he did last night, and he’s got much needed sleep to catch up on.  Puppy zzzzz’s, chasing field mice in his dreams. ❤️

Had contractors in today. Yard crew cropped my boxwood hedges, and generally tidied the yard. Another guy did the demolition of the countertop to prep for new quartz. The countertop and sink don't go in until next week, then I can have my kitchen back once a plumber plumbs things back together.

My weirdo loves the brush. He'll just lap it all up until he wears me out and then bite my feet when I dare stop!
