My cat is also pretty anti social but loves to be brushed and will flop from one side to the other so you don't miss a spot. But go to pet him or scratch his chin and be prepared for teeth and/or claws. Cats are weird.

My trip to the grocery store was kind of made a bit less than ideal when it turned out that I misplaced my earbuds. Eventually, after disassembling my bed, I found them about a third of the way between the head and foot.
And now for the status of my year-long resolution to watch some of the worst films ever made (note: to be eligible for this project, the film has to be A: on TVTropes "So Bad It's Horrible/Film" subpages, and B: available on DVD or Blu-Ray at my local library, so infamously bad films that aren't on the list will not be part of it). Expect me to talk about Bio-Dome at some point this week. However, the existence of Holmes and Watson and my search for a copy of Master of Disguise reminded me of the need to check on whether or not the films on the list are still available, and what new releases I'll have to deal with at some point. Films removed:

Enjoying a snow day. Though I hope we don't get too many more, lest we shorten this summer more than it's already been shortened. *sigh*

Went to work and the good news is we're finally back on track to my internship. The bad news is I'm now doing the most stultifying work I've ever had to do for this job. We went on the boss' Walgreens vendor page and I had to go to a bunch of products sold under a particular vendor in a bunch of categories and download 52-week excel spreadsheets for sales and product flow, whatever that is. I managed to do all the work for our biggest vendor (I want to say it's United Nonfabrics) and I had to keep downloading excel spreadsheets for all these products and rename them and file them in their specific folders for 2 1/2 hours. Collecting data that might make no sense in context to people other than me is nothing new to me (seriously, I spent a lot of time the other day researching input impedance so I can get the most of my piezo pickup for my guitar), but being so unable to understand what exactly I'm doing makes it all kind of boring. I need to rest.

Watching the news, trying not to think about Tanner at the pet hospital all alone with an IV in his arm and no one to love on him.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Hopefully Nanners is sound asleep right now because he feels so much better than he did last night, and he’s got much needed sleep to catch up on. Puppy zzzzz’s, chasing field mice in his dreams. ❤️

Had contractors in today. Yard crew cropped my boxwood hedges, and generally tidied the yard. Another guy did the demolition of the countertop to prep for new quartz. The countertop and sink don't go in until next week, then I can have my kitchen back once a plumber plumbs things back together.
