Drinking coffee and catching up on the forum. I have a new ILS worker (independent living skills specialist) who is going to be helping me with regular exercise and going to fitness classes at the YWCA. We had arranged to meet at 5 P.M. today, which will be our normal time, because I hadn't received some documents from my insurer that I needed in order to get started. Those documents came yesterday, so I need to reschedule my appointment with my new ILS worker as the YWCA business office is only open until 5 P.M. It's still a little early to call, so I'll wait a bit and then try to reach her.

Remember that tedious work I described yesterday about having to keep accessing and downloading product flow and sales sheets for the boss? Well, we tried to go at it again. Key word being “tried.” Suppliernet decided actually making those sheets we needed accessible was optional. Thus, we couldn’t connect with the database and nothing was done. Well, at least I had more time to read.

Dropped off the dog wagon for the replacement airbag(s?) and a once over. The engine was running a little ruff.
Picked up a disc-o-death for dinner.

On the first half-hour of Bio Dome. I will be pausing this shortly and will not get back to it until after work. So far, I will say that Pauly Shore manages to make Squirrel the most obnoxious character I've ever seen in film: the first second he's on screen, I immediately get sick of him.
Writing this up for the "last movie you watched" thread will be interesting.

Being completely unsurprised as to the obnoxiousness of a Pauly Shore performance.

Disciplinary hearing about to start.
Apparently, when a patient asks, "Will you visit me when I get out?" the wrong answer is, "No, I hate cemeteries."
Well, poo!

To be fair, the last time I saw him was in Son in Law and he was nowhere near this obnoxious. To be fair, when I saw it, I was younger (I was still a early teenager and it was long enough ago that the library still had VHS tapes) and had the flu, so maybe that might have had something to do with that. In my memory, even then he was doing something other than shouting and wrecking important scientific shit every second. Every other second, maybe, and even then, he had the occasional humanising moment. So far in BioDome, nothing.
Meanwhile, back at work, the databases went back online and I had to do two more vendors. And, despite my bosses' assurances, one category (Sun Products//Cleaning Products) wound up being even huger than the rest of the others I had to deal with (possibly larger than the rest of the others combined, 105 Products worth of Sales Sheets and Product Flow Statements). After briefly freaking out at the sheer magnitude of the project and its attendant tedium, I decided to do them all and succeeded in a bit over 2 hours, 20 minutes.

Poking around at the forum and the remaining news site newsletters in my inbox. I've finished my to do list for the day, but have no motivation to do much of anything. I managed to get my big screen TV hooked up to my computer, thanks to a 25' HDMI cable that I'd forgotten I had purchased and some serendipitous turns of hardware I didn't expect (namely the onboard video and the add-in graphics card both working at the same time). So, a decent day, all in all. Looking forward to dinner of kimchi and rice.
