It was a lovely sunny day so I went for a walk via the area's county park today; been cleaning the flat and sorting a few bits and bobs out and now thinking of what to do before bed (as I have to get up early tomoz). Thinking what film I could watch or something. Spice Girls playing currently.

Weird computer thing of the day: when I turned on the Microsoft Solitaire issues, I kept getting a new page on my browser that looked like a GQ article about Clint Eastwood having a cure for impotence (I can't find any actual article on GQ about such a thing, for some reason). I think it has something to do with the ad services in Microsoft Solitaire, since it started when I turned it on, and once I turned it off, it hasn't recurred.

Just got up. No hot water (storage heater in ceiling). Not a disaster, don't mind washing in cold water.

There is a site I use, which arranges quotes from 3 local businesses. Already have a guy coming today for a quote.

Me? I'm fine, thanks for asking. Spent most of yesterday waiting fora plumber. He didn't turn up or call. Another is expected shortly, as in now.

Something I just can't put off, such as not having any hot water.

Brewing a second cup of Walmart brand Columbian in my K-cup coffee maker. Probably more caffeine than I should have of an evening, but I'm waiting on a disk test that has four more hours to go to finish, so I likely won't get to bed early tonight. I spent most of the day wrestling with some weird behavior from the disk controller on my desktop and associated with a specific new hard disk. I haven't figured out the definitive answers yet, and I need to do so by tomorrow night in order to get a $3 off coupon on ordering another of the same type disk off Ebay. So, work, work, work, and more work.....
