RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Well, I finally got around to watching the Funny Games Blu-Ray I got last week. The menu is weird and creepy, and in a way the film wasn't (technically, I'm only familiar with the remake, and this is my first time watching the original German version, but the remake was a shot for shot remake of the original by the same director): it's the title of the film in black text on a red field, and it's a really menacing sounding speech in unsubtitled German (admittedly, it's not very difficult to make German sound intimidating to an Anglophone) while weird sounds that may be either some Penderecki-like music or sirens play over it.
Remarkably, this is quite the departure from what I know of the film (namely, the English version that is a shot-for-shot remake of the German version I just bought): the shocking thing about the movie is how mundane the horror is (except for the remote control scene), how the violence and horror aren't stylised at all: it all looks like something that could happen in real life. And Haneke, in all the films of his I've seen, is NOT someone to bother a composer to make a score for him. Hell, of all the films of his I've seen, (and I've seen 8 of his 13 films), Funny Games is the only one/two with ANY non-diagetic music (though I thought there was one scene late in The Piano Teacher where a Schubert piece plays even as Huppert walks out of range of hearing it being performed, but, after watching that scene on YouTube, I confused that with the ending to Barry Lyndon, which used the same piece.) And that non-diagetic music is this:
Really fucking terrifying, but not in the sort of way the sound of the menu is.

Nothing absolutely nothing.
I'm wanting some answers on things and sorta just lurking around places commenting on what's interesting. I need to do a lot of things not doing anything and can't sleep so i'm staring at computer screen like most of humanity.

It's me mum's birthday tomorrow and having just got back from shopping, I thought I might share a bit of chocolate with her.
So I went over to her place and asked if she felt like some chocolate, seeing as it is her birthday tomorrow.
She thanked me, took the chocolate and put it in her fridge.
I didn't have the heart to tell her I was only going to give her a couple of rows.
Oh well, looks like Weetbix for my dessert tonight.

Well, I just cummed for the first time today. Usually I cum 3-4 times in a day, play some computer games and read Brittanica and do math books. Exercise is the toughest part of the day to be honest. It burns...

I would only advise you to think of your poor mother who has to wash all those crusty socks.
Moderation is key, Additionally, it's a school day, did you skip again?

Relaxing with a sparkling water after lunch. A local upscale grocer is having a member special of $4 on my favorite brand of frozen pizza, limit one per day. I've got one slot open in the freezer and have an errand to run in the vicinity of one, so I'll pick up one later, then I need to pick up a package at the Mall of America tomorrow, so I'll eat a pizza tonight and pick up another tomorrow. Not that I pay regular cost or anything, but that's a savings of $7 over the standard price. And I've been meaning to try the Heggie's pizzas that I picked up on sale a while back. They're another premium brand that doesn't often go on sale. This will give me an excuse to have one of them.

Three frustrating things that happened today:
- Pixel Art changed the way they upload images to the app. It seemed for a few hours that they uploaded a new set of images every hour (a total of three sets), but that stopped after 10 AM. Apparently, it's books.
- At the store, kids decided that when they get there, they wanted to shout ANYTHING that came across their minds except when they actually had to order. Then they muttering their orders like they were latter-day Prince while their friends shouted their lungs out. So I had to keep shouting just so we could be heard, which led to my lungs feeling weak.
- Car was running out of gas, so I went to a gas station. I ordered regular unleaded and got charged for premium anyway.
And on a lighter note, watching Shaun's respose to Stefan Molyneux' take on The Force Awakens.
And it's kind of jarring to see Molyneux decrying the fantasy genre's habit of separating the hero from his parents, when years ago, he was openly doing the exact same thing himself:
And just so we're clear, such a solution can be good as a last resort (especially if you have a financial safety net to take care of your more foundational Maslovian needs). Unfortunately, Molyneux seems to consider it as a default solution to all life's problems. And there's more where that came from.

Well, I found a lead for the proper Vox font for my Vaux amp project. Unfortunately, while the guy found the same font the Vox Amps logo uses, he did not explain what said font actually was. So I sent him an email, and I realised I probably would have to wait a long time since he's Jewish (and while he doesn't explicitly say it, the heavy focus on religion strongly suggests he's Shomer Shabbos) and I sent off the email on Friday night. Dad thinks he's found a font that's pretty bloody close (Diezma, FWIW) and he's currently trying to modify it. Tomorrow, I think I'll send off another email to him asking for him for the alphabet files to that font, and, if he's got 3D printing files for all the letters, Dad says he might be able to 3D print it.
This week in the Deep Hurting Project: Doogal. I have not watched the original series (plural) this is based on, like most Yanks, but I have heard they (specifically Harvey Weinstein) changed EVERYTHING and made it absolutely horrible.
