"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

This is my new pup Diesel, he got bloat yesterday and needed surgery on the day I was supposed to adopt him. He's recovering at the vet's and I won't be able to adopt him until Monday!!! I was so impatient to wait for yesterday, now almost a whole week more!

But! It might be for the best. Bigger dogs, especially Weimaraners, especially males, are prone to bloat. And when they repaired his stomach yesterday, they performed a procedure called a gastropexy where they anchor the stomach to the abdominal wall so it can't twist again. So this would prevent the serious complications of bloat if it happens again. 5 days!!!

I'm at work listening to the wind howl outside my office.

I'll see the daylight but not the sunrise.

Good to see you posting. I hope this dog gives you joy similar to what Tanner did!

Good news, the Vaux amp project Dad and I worked on has returned from the shop. The bad news: Minstrel was unable to integrate the AC-Tone with the amp. Dad think he's found a solution to many of the problems, but he thinks he'll manage a solution, with a little help from his friends at the shop.
