Watched the new video by Shaun, and this statement by Owen Benjamin at 25:50 really floored me:
I should point out that, regardless of your views of Adolf Hitler as a human being, Mein Kampf was one of the most horribly-written books I've ever read. Reading it for the first time, I got the impression that it was just a long, unedited ramble about his early days (and not a terribly accurate one at that; several translations have footnotes that call bullshit when he exaggerates/lies about his past) punctuated by rambling talks about his worldview. If the person who wrote it didn't plunge the world into the biggest bloodbath in its history, there would be no reason whatsoever to read it. And yet, according to Ian Kershaw, it was actually pretty heavily edited, if not rewritten in several parts, by Rudolf Hess (including the chapter on propaganda, which was largely lifted from something written by him anyway). How much worse would the actual first draft have to be? That said, his paintings were... competent is the best I can say. He was okay when he was working on still lives or buildings, but his people just seem lifeless. When I took two German History classes, the teacher compared his art to Thomas Kinkade, and with paintings like this: It's not hard to see why. (Also, on an ironic note, most of his original buyers were Jewish.) It was honestly dumb enough that it almost distracted me from his question about why Hitler would "kill his slaves." TL;DR: Owen Benjamin,

Here’s the latest (and best so far) mock-up of what the Vaux amp will look like when it’s finished.

Just bought a second hand washing machine, dryer, single bed ensemble, dining table and chairs for $375.
Just gotta work out how to get it from there to here. I've been sleeping on a wooden slat bed with a very thin mattress since my kid was born. I hope I'll be able to handle the softness. :-) Plus, just feeling fucking great today.
Good morning 🌞☀️😃
