I'm currently watching The Ten Commandments for the Deep Hurting Project, and I'm also in the midst of writing a big article on the Nazi Titanic film. I'm at over 2000 words and I'm still not even on the film's absurdly troubled production.

Well, this is the first Easter where I didn't wake up to find a basket filled with candies and DVDs or books (that, odds are, I picked myself). Given the nature of what's been going on, this is kind of inevitable. It's a shame; I would have loved to grab the Blu-Rays of Joker and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but at least we ordered them online and I found two Peeps and a cookies and cream bunny at Jewel.
And an update on the Titanic project: I finally finished a draft in Open Office Writer, and its length: a bit over 6000 words. It's the longest column I've written for Anglotopia that isn't a review of a given season of Black Mirror, and there's a lot I decided to keep out. I will submit it to Anglotopia tomorrow, fine-tuning it, and properly integrating the videos and links into it. Hopefully, it'll go up on Tuesday or Wednesday, just in time for the anniversary of the sinking.

I just heard that Tim Brooke Taylor from 'The Goodies' has died.
Very sad.
I've got a few dvds of those guys, might have to sit down and watch a few now I've got time.

Now just send that over to Reader's Digest and they'll condense that for you. :-)

I'm actually planning on going out today. Going to the pain clinic to get a needle stuck through my skull.

I've been reading up on family history lately, especially the exploits of my great grandfather during WW2.
As soon as war was declared, he went to Sydney to join up. He was on the first available boat to Europe where he joined the infantry.
He obviously missed Dunkirk but served with distinction throughout Greece, Crete, and North Africa, earning a commssion and rising through tge ranks quickly.
He was wounded and spent some time in the infamous Colditz castle.
After getting out, he found himself again in North Africa, Italy, and France. After that it's quite murky about where he end up for a while but I know he was at Normandy on D-Day, where he earned his highest decoration.
Great-grandpa was VERY proud of that medal.
He even wore his Iron Cross Class One in front of the firing squad.
Here's to you, SS-Obersturmbannfuhrer Anderson.

Watching my bag of snakes. Grey Cat (master race) had a litter, and Yorny (the fluffy orange cat) will have kattens in a week or two.

Somehow, the Nazi Titanic article still has yet to be published to Anglotopia.
