Spent most of today working on Pixel Art. So, when I started getting extra pictures, I decided I’d do bonus pictures that didn’t cover the entire frame. A few weeks ago, after it finally updated, it seemed like that was no longer a problem; If I finished today’s pictures, there’d be no more bonus pictures, and then, a few weeks later, some started coming up. Surprisingly, today, I scrolled down and saw the apparent bonus pictures were just regular daily pictures that I somehow failed to notice. Or previously locked images that they decided to unlock for whatever reason. And the backlog was small enough that I decided to do all of them. And I finished around 5.
Also, I noticed that Arewethereyet modified my reputation and I really liked what she said: “I don't always understand you but I like trying to figure you out.” I’m sure that my therapist said something like that, and somehow, with the possible exception of Jack being the first woman since that dwarf who taught theater class my senior year of high school to state they find me attractive, I can’t think of any reps that somehow made me feel this good.
Also, a neighbor baked challah bread for my Dad and I and how the fuck did I not taste this until today?

You should bake the neighbours some as well. It’s polite to challah back.

Breathing a huge sigh of relief.
Husband just called to say that he made it through today's round of terminations where he works. He has been at this job for a little over a year so he doesn't have seniority to fall back on (not that it counts much any more). So we will still have medical insurance regardless how crappy it is and he still has his job, for now.

Glad to hear you got good news.
At the risk of beating a dead horse, I still have trouble wrapping my head round the fact that your healthcare depends on being employed.

And that's only if you are lucky enough to work for an employer that offers coverage.
Even then, coverage has blown up in cost and plummeted in coverage in the last ten years. I can track it based on my breast cancer adventure that began in 2009 and cost me almost nothing to now when a simple doctor visit will cost me over a hundred dollars...with insurance. That doesn't cover tests or prescriptions. My doctor is affiliated with a large medical group now. Every visit leads to off-site testing and specialists...she essentially treats nothing. She just passes you on to the next place wanting money.

Spent the better part of 2 1/2 hours this afternoon trying to find my watch and taking my room apart. Turns out it was between cushions of the downstairs couch. Spent the last couple hours trying to recover. Sadly, It looks like the expected restorative yoga session has to be delayed since we didn’t get the zoom address somehow. And now, for the time being, Alison and I are watching Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds. Oddly fitting to watch a movie about a civilization threatened by a spreading plague during this pandemic, with a body pillow of the actress who provided the voice of the title character at my side.

My martial arts class is back on, tomorrow.
