What, she didn't let you play "pokies" during those 4 months?

I have lost a LOT of weight unintentionally lately, as well as having other symptoms that were beginning to look like the signs of something pretty ominous.
Found a new doctor who isn't an idiot and since the first of the month have been through a battery of tests and found out I am severely anemic and low on Vitamins D and B-12. Supplements and injections were started on the 17th and the weight loss has stopped, other symptoms have stopped...and I am now not quite so concerned about what other tests may reveal.
You can have as many of my pounds as you want.

With the Barnes and Noble Criterion Half Off sale in its last days, I decided to look and see what my options were. And surprisingly, for reasons I'm fairly certain are COVID-related, pickings were surprisingly slim. Most everything that looked good to me (particularly the new release of Come and See) was currently unavailable online. But I decided to try and order something for in-store pickup: their Blu-Ray of Mildred Pierce. I got a message that it was ready within about 30 minutes. So, for the first time in a long time, I drove to Old Orchard to pick it up. And I spent some time wandering, and before I went to the checkout desk, I looked in the bargains section. I picked up a copy of Miklos Nyiszli's Auschwitz: A Doctor's Eyewitness Account as well.

I haven't posted or even lurked in an eternity it seems. I hope all of you and yours are well.
We've been doing a bit of camping owing to Covid, otherwise I scarcely have left my home since we returned from Mexico the third week of February.. I've been reworking and simplifying my guitar signal chain. Working. My adult step-children have been temporarily living with us since April. My son starts college remotely in September, remotely thankfully. Youngest stepson just passed an important tech certification. I hope there's a job for him out there.
