Spent a lot of the day digitising an old copy of Woyzeck I had in my possession. IT was the Schmidt translation that had the contents of all 4 drafts (because Buchner died before he could actually finish the play properly) translated into English. And I managed to paste most of it from pre-existing sources, created a linkable table of contents (even if I did have to manually change the page numberings), and even put it all in an interesting font based on an Olympia Congress typewriter before I turned it into a PDF. Barely ate most of the day.

Done working for the week. Just vacuumed up a puppy's worth of fur...that's an everyday occurrence around here.

Dug around for shirts I haven't worn in a while to change things up a little. Have my "Keep Austin Weird" shirt on with the picture of a winged armadillo. It's off to the grocery store for me.

It's supposed to be cooling off here next week so I will be able to wear my Opus "Any Functioning Adult/2020" shirt for the first time this year.

Relaxing.

After a long day of digging up the septic tank - removing the toilet - and sawing through a 4 inch (I.D.) cast iron pipe - and dragging it out of the house - under the foundation.

Tomorrow - all the plumbing under the house (working in a wet dirt floor, spider infested crawlspace with about 22 inches clearance)will be cut up and removed. A mixture of steel, copper and pvc - all coated with soggy wet fiberglass wrap..

Anybody wanna come and play?

It's gonna be a fucking party.....
