Relaxing.

After a long day of digging up the septic tank - removing the toilet - and sawing through a 4 inch (I.D.) cast iron pipe - and dragging it out of the house - under the foundation.

Tomorrow - all the plumbing under the house (working in a wet dirt floor, spider infested crawlspace with about 22 inches clearance)will be cut up and removed. A mixture of steel, copper and pvc - all coated with soggy wet fiberglass wrap..

All the feed lines and drains are out from underbthe kitchen and bathroom - and a centuries worth of debris has been raked up and carted outside.

A bit of framing work - and I will install and plumb the toilet and it's drain. No feedline to it - but a bucket of water will do the trick.

I'll be able to crap in splendor today....

I was supervising a crew of painters, plasterers, plumbers and a fence crew one time. The toilets were pulled out so that the floor (ceramic) tiles could be removed. I rented a gumper, but the boss had it taken away the same day. All these guys, working all over the house. It's real fun squatting over the sewer drain pipe.
