Just finished repairing the hot water cylinder, the clothes washer, the dryer and the oven (bottom half), all four of which went tits up over two days.

I’m thinking of building an aircraft carrier next.

With a running start and a good tailwind...no.

Reading a story about vertical biosecure pig farms in china. 12 stories, they hope to pull 1300 head per floor. Cool stuff.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Currently in the anarchist jurisdiction of Seattle with my love. The city is in flames, antifa is executing suburbanites in the streets.

Oh wait. No. None of those things are happening.

We're just having a drink

Spent a lot of today playing with a Spectrum Analyser app, trying to figure out the sonic signature of, say, The Beatles vs. Charley Patton.

Also, I got a new mask from Etsy today. Royal Stewart tartan, pleated for maximum coverage (you can’t even tell I’m wearing a surgical model under it), Built-in nose wire to minimise eyeglass fogging, a pocket for filters, and all for the low price of $10 (plus tax, free shipping), and it made it from the Placentia, California post office to my mailbox in Skokie, Illinois in less than 48 hours!
