I'm likely not going to be on much over the next few weeks.

Details may follow.

Let's just say health issues.

Stay safe and be well.

Brewing a second pot of coffee. Walmart had their own brand of whole bean, organic Sumatra for $5, so I thought, "What the hell." We'll see. I generally avoid drinking two caffeinated pots, but I'll make an exception.

Just saw the David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet documentary.

Holy shit, they're STILL playing this commercial.

Well, if I haven't explained it before, I'm going to undergo a septotomy and turbinectomy on Friday, and I'm honestly scared shitless at the prospect of undergoing surgery for the first time in my life (unless you count root canals, and that was under nitrous, not general anaesthesia). For the record, I'm 30. And because of the pandemic, any procedure requires a COVID test about 72 hours prior to the surgery. So, this time around, it was just a nasal q-tip. And for reasons I think were related to the thick undergrowth of hair in my nose, I really felt it. Apparently, if they don't contact me within 48 hours (read: Thursday at 10:30), I should assume I tested negative.

You are having a turbine removed?

Wow...

What did it cost to have it installed, and how much boost did it give you?

This was supposed to be an easy work week till payroll comes around on Thursday...yeah, so much for that plan. Cripes, I think sometimes they forget I am supposed to be part time.
