Sampling some Canadian whiskey. I have to skip donating plasma today because of a mishap with my medicine cabinet. So I'm going to sulk.

Sampling the Two Stacks cask strength Irish whiskey that I bought on St. Paddy's Day. It's in a different league than the entry level Two Stacks Irish whiskey. I'd have had difficulty finishing a bottle of the other. This goes down quite nicely.

Debating what to buy next. I'd like to replace the Glenfiddich 15 that I bumped off. Johnnie Walker green won't be in stock for a month. I'm thinking something like Glenfiddich 21 year rum cask finish or the Johnnie Walker blue label. It will push my plans for a new bed back a bit, but this is a good time to extend my reach.

Spent most of the day wrapping up loose ends (i.e. yard work) prior to fucking back off to Mexico. Our residency was approved, we're going down Tuesday to complete the process.


Meanwhile, winding down with Knob Creek old fashioned cocktails.

Thinking about my writing. Yesterday I thought of going a certain way, then last night I wrote something different, and then this morning I realize I need to do an edit.

I settled on the Aberlour A’Bunadh. It's a better value than either of those other bottles and more within my budget. I'll pick it up on Friday.
