Taking a frustration break from cutting up an old bed frame to scavenge the metal. I’ve broken three good quality jig saw blades and a cutoff wheel on the angle grinder. I’ve cut these things up before with no trouble, dunno what the problem is.

Seriously considering investing in a torch.

1mm grinder cutting discs will cut through everything.

I used a 1mm bonded resin wheel, and it snapped like a saltine. Next step is a diamond wheel.

Some of the older quality rails have a fair amount of carbon and can be pretty hard. If that's the case, any welding you do with the pieces may be brittle.

So, about that order from Kino Lorber that contains The Iceman Cometh and Kind Hearts and Coronets on DVD that I placed about a month ago? It was apparently sent back because I somehow wrote the wrong house number on the order. Since recognizing my error, I have sent them multiple emails and even sent them a message on the phone asking them to ship it to the right address.

And I got a message it's back on its way and to the proper address... as soon as they get Kind Hearts and Coronets back out of backorder.

Just finished watching "The Queens Gambit" for the second time while making husband new masks...he's worn his out wearing them all day at work.  Luckily I had several cut out and just had to do the assembly.

Now back to finding something to watch while I sew quilts.

One of my Middle Earth stories (in progress) is titled Queen's Gambit. At the moment, I'm editing and printing the next four pages of my monthly calendar. Gotta make another coffee when I'm finished.

Lazily sitting around and drinking coffee. I need to head to Best Buy today, but I don't have a lot of energy. They had a better air fryer for $30 more, and since this one hasn't been opened, I'm returning it.

Trying to decide how lazy to be today.

I just emptied the dishwasher, started a pitcher of tea, and mixed up a batch of the corn bread and veggie treat I make for the parrots...it's in the oven now. This may be the extent of what I accomplish today.

In less than an hour, I'm going to go and get gagged by a swab so that I can have foot surgery on Wednesday.
