So, it turns out the TV that was in my bedroom has died. At first, I thought it was just the Blu-Ray player. I've known Blu-Ray players that just decided to show the Blu-Ray logo and then go entirely black and had to be replaced. So, we finally get one from Walmart and when we come back, it shows absolutely nothing. We even take out Dad's Blu-Ray player from the living room, hook it up, and see if it responds. Nothing. We even replace the HDMI cables, swap out the inputs. Nothing. The only thing that managed to work was the VHS player, and that only barely. Dad went back to Walmart and Best Buy to buy a TV that was the size for my room (19" diagonal), and the closest thing they even had was a larger one that looks like it might just about fit. It's arriving tomorrow.

And to add insult to injury, the original Blu-Ray player actually played just fine on the living room TV. And with all that, today was a busy day and I am exhausted. I don't think I'm good to do Atlas Shrugged, Part Two tonight. Tomorrow might be fine, though.

Trying to get motivated to do some work. I need to get some things done because I have to take Zig to the vet for pre-surgery bloodwork in a couple hours.

Cookin up low fat dog food for the next couple of days. Our oldest has developed pancreatitis/cholecystitis.

I am trying to figure out how to feed three...one needs to lose weight, one needs to gain a little, and one is just right.

What am I up to...

Thinking that, like many asked, I should have followed in dad's footsteps and went to vet school. I just paid $120.00 for bloodwork for Zig and another $20.00 for 10 pills and I figure that it'll be around $500.00 for his dental cleaning next week. Less than a month ago he had his annual exam and vaccinations that certainly wasn't inexpensive.

I get to start this process all over with Karm when I take her on Thursday. OY!

TV has arrived and, while it is a bit awkward to place, it does fit, and the Blu-ray player does work with it.

And after a small decorative touch, it’s finally working.



Also, I got an appointment for my first COVID jab tomorrow afternoon.
