I've been wandering around aimlessly today. For some reason I am restless. Don't feel like sewing today. Have managed a few household chores but feel like I should do more. Just turned on Pandora and may read a while.

Well, we finally got the archtop ready for assembly. Although it took a while to get it playable since the bridge needed to be built up half an inch just to get the action in a playable position (apparently, the top had collapsed more than previously thought.) fortunately, Dad built some padouk blocks for the bridge to stand on and now it’s playable.

And the headstock (I noticed that the Martin Retro strings I put on it are shorter than I expected, since some of them, the winding doesn’t even reach the peg head. Not sure if that’s important, Maybe the John Pearse 11-50 equivalent won’t have that problem, since an archtop guitar is actually on the packaging.)

Also, the Blu-rays of Kind Hearts and Coronets and Iceman Cometh that I ordered from Kino Lorber over a month ago (after two backorder waits and one incident where I accidentally wrote down the wrong house number on the order sheet) have finally arrived.

Just took my morning medicine and I'm on packing some stuff to take back to the hospital. I've been at home for 2 days now, just a test-run to see if I'm able to rest outside the comfort of the hospital.

Watching baseball. I recently read about a Smokey Coke, being Coke and Lagavulin 16. I made something similar with Pepsi and Islay Gold, and it is tasty.
