Vacationing in Kentucky to see Mammoth Cave.
Upon checking into our hotel, one of the select brochures the desk staff offered for tourism ideas was for the Creation Museum in Petersburg. Among other inanities, the title of the brochure is "Prepare to Believe."  RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Finishing donating plasma. On the way home I have a package to pick up. I ordered a slow cooker because my pressure cookers do a poor job of slow cooking. I've got some stew meat in the freezer to make chili sometime in the next 4-5 days. I'm going to make my own chili powder with my new food processor using a recipe from America's Test Kitchen. I'll try out my new slow cooker at the same time.

Watching Vikings.
King Aella(sp?) just got the blood eagle. I appreciate my ancestors and their creativity. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" 
Apparently I left a beer bottle cap on the kitchen bench.
I can now hear it skittering along the floor of the lounge as one of the cats goes through her nightly, 2am, "I'm a kitten again!!" phase. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"

Took care of some paperwork on my desk and drove down the hill to put outgoing mail in the mailbox. Picked some milkweed leaves when I got back up to the house. Now I'm tending the Monarch caterpillars. I have 37 and some of them are getting huge.

I'm not much for weeds, but the wife got all excited about the monarchs this year, and we left them to grow. Monarchs all over! I'm liking that.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
Made a morning run to Aldi's to buy a chuck roast. Not sure if I'll get that started before my homemaker comes. Probably not.
