This 'anniversary' always gives me pause...they only gave me three years at that time.
Glad you're still with us.

Regarding those dizzy spells.
I've had them, usually when I stood up too fast. My vision would go black and I would have to force myself to maintain consciousness. Took a few deep breaths and never fainted or fell, luckily. Never had myself checked out, but I attributed it to dehydration.

That sounds like orthostatic hypotension. They're talking about vestibular balance disorder's.

If you've been sitting for awhile and stand up fast, it takes a tick or two for you blood pressure to increase. That can cause your symptoms.

I would even get them while sitting down. Distressing.

In the last few years of my dad's life he had a lady friend that gave him the happiness and joy that was lacking with my mother. Unfortunately their time together was quite short. She was such a help to us when dad's health failed. She was there when we were all a thousand miles away in different directions. I just found out that she died last Friday, I don't have details yet but it makes me sad. She never got over dad...she loved him completely and us (kids and grandkids) as well. Rest well Phyllis, you deserve it.
