Watching football. I just got back from errands. Picking up packages and buying some steaks for a cooking experiment this weekend. (Trying my new immersion circulator.)

It's been an odd day. Down to 16c in here. Have spent the last few hours with the electric blanket cranked up watching YouTube.

It's currently 1600 Friday 12 Nov. I feel a pizza coming on.

Received the jewelry/trinket boxes I ordered for the grandkids yesterday. Just opened them up and they are okay...considering what I paid, they are fine. I just ordered some velvet fabric and am going to make lining for the drawers to fancy them up a bit.

Christmas shopping is going good. All the main gifts but one ordered and paid for. I decided to eschew candy as stocking stuffers and concentrate on small, usable items. Money is behind schedule for that, but fortunately one $50 order isn't expected to ship until mid-December. I still need to buy cards and gift wrapping supplies, but I'll do that in December. I ordered some scrapbooking tape for one sister and when it arrived it had a "Happy Valentine's Day" sticker on it. I suppose I can cover that with a gift label. And the candy samplers I ordered from Macy's all have the price listed on the side of the candy box. I think I'm just going to leave that. No biggie.

Oh, and I've been trying to find bigger, better cuts of steak to cook, and realized that I've been overlooking a grocery store chain that sells more upscale stuff. I'll look there today. It's right by a meat market if they don't have what I want.
