I forgot to eat this morning. How silly of me. It will be evening before I get a chance to eat something.

Well, my mobile phone seems to be dying. It's a Galaxy A50, a terrific mid-range phone. Problem is the battery can't be replaced. So I'm looking for a decent phone with a replaceable battery. So far I've found another Samsung, at over $600.00. I will look around a bit more. They're out there, one just needs to hunt them down.

Anyone have any suggestions? Not keen on buying any second hand tech if I can avoid it.

Check if your carrier sells returns. My sister got a seat deal on a Samsung that way.

Decided to commission a proper amp badge for my Vaux amp and fix the one part that Dad and I were never able to properly finish:

It's coming in about two weeks and costs less than $20, including shipping.

Also something I forgot to talk about, I got a boost pedal (based on the Z Vex Super Hard On). It works pretty well, even though I'm just going to set it for about unity gain (the 5MegaOhm impedance was honestly the big draw for this pedal, because it helps even out the piezo pickup.) And because we're both based out of Chicago (well, Skokie in my case), it took less than a day to arrive.

Went to Cub to pick up a package and buy some pork shoulder steaks that were on sale. I forgot to pick up the package, and despite the app showing they were still on sale, I couldn't find any packages of the pork shoulder steak at the marked-down price. I did however, grab a couple of nice sized sirloin steaks that were still marked down $3/lb., and there was a lone Porterhouse that was also $3/lb. off, and had a $4 off peel-off coupon on top of that. So things worked out all right, and I managed to swing by United Noodle and get sriracha and Sambal Oelek, which I'm almost out of.
