What's everyone up to right now?

There's always a quart or two of runny glop leftover, which means I have to haul the heavy crock into the bathroom and dump it in the toilet, and then haul the crock to the sink to wash it.  This will eliminate most of that hassle.  A 10-quart crock is a bit unwieldy.  Even the 6-quart is no piece of cake.

You empty cooking fat into your toilet? Gee, we're not allowed to.

Beer; there was a minor scandal here a few years ago when people realised  a lot of the expensive 'imported beer' was and is, made here.  It certainly matters; Eg the Guinness made here is nowhere nearly as good as that made in England and Ireland.

I was thrilled to discover that in the US, their relatively cheap beer is even cheaper if you buy six. Here you have to buy a slab for a discount (24 cans or bottles)

I just thought of another advantage of the cooking bags. When I want to put leftovers in the fridge, I can just lift the bag and put it in a food storage container or dump it in without the bag. That saves me the trouble of having to spoon the leftovers into a container.

I just got the news.  Very serious pulmonary embolism.

Whoa........ shit. Didn't expect that. Did they propose an etiology?

Initially I thought this might be related to your recent episode of explosive dehydration, and maybe it was. Or maybe the long car ride with little movement developing a DVT.

After they get you stabilized what's the short and long term treatment plan (maybe you're not there yet)? Not sure that returning down south this season would be a good idea.

GET BETTER!!!

Edit: After thought, Covid?
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

We're not far enough along to know much yet. I expect it was the long car ride.

Definitely not covid, I've tested negative twice in the last 24 hours.

Oh dear. My medical knowledge is restricted to being an army medic, but that was 50 years ago.

Consequently, all I can offer is my hopes for your speedy recovery.

Enjoying my weekend. Monday I start work on my first video for the month of December. It's hard for me to take days off as I'd rather be working, but I promise myself weekends off to keep myself healthy. So here we are.

Lady bugs in November, where you are? Sorry bud, that's a cockroach in a party dress.  Hehe
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
