I’m reflecting on how much people suck.
A courier service just dropped a parcel at our front door (I was out back and got round the front in time to see the van leave). This parcel wasn’t ours - it was addressed to a house several streets over. Good guy that I am (or try to be), I hopped in the car and drove over.
The young (25-ish) snot came to the door. I explained that this package was mis-delivered, that I was close by, and thought I’d save him the trouble of tracking it down with the courier service. He snatched it out of my hand, and said, ‘Don’t expect me to pay you anything’ and slammed - literally slammed - the door.
I briefly considered kicking the door in and hurting his feelings in a way that would require medical care. Maybe he was having a bad day, maybe he’d been scammed in the past. No excuse.
I really hope I see him on the street one day.

I might get discharged tomorrow or Thursday. Kitty has been leaning on friends both in and out of Mexico to keep her sanity.

0935 Wednesday.
Just finished some work on a painting; trying to salvage the pig's breakfast it was.
In about 10 minutes I'm going to my men's group. Two hours of interaction with old farts like me . I'm actually the youngest. The eldest is 89.
Seeing these blokes who are really old, gives me some hope of a longer life . (my dad died at 86, Mum at 92)
