Going to see how much I recall from my military days. My Harley boots need polishing since I will be wearing then tonight for the first time in a couple years.

It's awful when one's pets suffer. I did my best to make sure Shadow my pit bull didn't suffer. Then he developed a nasty tumour. Nothing could be done to remove it. He was on strong analgesics for as long as they worked.. The Vet told me the analgesics would no longer b effective within a week or so. I had him put down then. To have kept him going to the last possible minute would have been selfish.
Please don't think I'm criticising you Brewer. I'm trying to show empathy, which is something at which I'm not very good.

The Gibson Es-335 kit came today

It came without strings, knobs, instructions, or much of the necessary wiring (even the capacitors for the tone controls). We don’t even know where the stop bar or bridge are supposed to go, and apparently, the guy who sent it to us thought it was more important to send part of the Fake Book version of “Green Eyes” than instructions. We can’t find a perfect match for who made the kit, but Aliexpress seems to have the closest match. And they still have a different neck.

Just got back from my Men's group.
It was pretty good. We met at a local coffee shop and sat around chatting and drinking coffee for a couple of hours.
I learned; One bloke who's just about deaf was a welter weight boxer. He told me he had 45 fights and won most.
Another bloke had a pilot's licence . Flying mainly Cesna's and Piper Cherokee. Fascinating stuff.
