Day two of our major software components not integrating like they are supposed to. Kind of a problem since it's stopping payments from being processed - to us.
And the tech support response thing has me stuck in a 'here's a new password - nope that doesn't work' loop.
I haz a headache.

Speccing out what it would cost to upgrade the internals of my current computer. About $700 without upgrading the memory, or a grand with new memory. Given the disadvantages of not upgrading the memory, I think that I'd go for the whole package. Not that I need to upgrade, but with graphic card prices still on the moon, something to take my mind and my budget off that wouldn't be all bad. I'm thinking a Z690 mobo with 4x16 PCIE slots and three M.2 slots, an i5-12600K, and DDR5-5200. The plus side is that I could run more SSDs on the main bus in addition to the obligatory graphics card and 4x RAID controller. My current rig only has two M.2 slots and three PCIE x16 slots. It would also open up my primary SSD to PCIE v4 speeds.

Rudro anejo tequila. Delicious. I stumbled across the half-empty bottle of Balcones Baby Blue corn whisky earlier, but had forgotten about it. Maybe later or Thursday.

So the manager that turned over solving the issue to me turns out to be the person who made a setting change that screwed everything up.
GRRRRR! It's finally fixed after she decided to get involved like I asked her to yesterday morning. Oh well, means more hours on my next check.

Screeding the dirt and Italian Cypress needles out of a pile of (small) river rocks and putting them in between the big rocks on the parkway. My aching back! I want to put a new or rebuilt engine in my truck, but I don't think that my back can handle the abuse, anymore. Shit.

Ordering ingredients for my new bread maker. The machine was $75. The ingredients are close to $100. This is a more expensive proposition than it first appeared.

Grilled a deboned leg of lamb on the grill. Best product so far! Hot Damn, it was good!

Went to the library to pick up a hold I had on the new Sturgill Simpson album. I also found out that the sixpence keyring I had on my chain had fallen off. After retracing my steps, I found nothing. But then, I remembered "Wait a tic, I've already got a couple sixpences in my Foreign Currency Reserves... why not drill a hole in one of them and put it on a keyring?" So, after finding a miniature split ring, that's exactly what Dad and I did. The experiment was so successful I decided to buy a 1967 half-crown and repeat the experiment, because I've had a keyring waiting in limbo for a month and a half with no information on when (or if) it will come. And before the end of the month, my plan to get a keychain for every predecimal British coin from Farthing to Half Crown will be complete.
