We have to drug our Cavalier Spaniel mix before going to the Vet. Trazadone, as well. Even so, she still gets the muzzle. She may have had some shit treatment at the Vet in the past, and I KNOW she did when she went to prison (the pound). We were told she was vicious, and was going to be destroyed. In order to inspect and chip her, they rolled her up in a towel. I'd be pissed, too! My wife took her for a walk to introduce her to our other dog, and things were fine. Paid her bail, took her out of there, and she jumped right in and curled up on the back seat. She absolutely detests anyone in scrubs, and gardeners, and roofers (so far). She may dislike other people, but we haven't met them yet. It has to be some sort of uniform thing. She's smart as a whip, and has done a nice job of training us.
Other than this weird growling thing that sounds more like a purr and is always directed at Zig, Quinn is a wimpy, neurotic little thing. None of my Cavs have an aggressive bone in their bodies, unless you are a squirrel. Your poor little thing must have been treated really badly to be like that...very unusual in the breed. And Dr. Abraham is an amazingly gentle vet so that helps. Zig prefers Dr. Myers...I don't, but it makes Zig happy so that's who he sees. My dogs even chose their vet. Karm also sees Dr. Abraham. I trust them all and in an urgent situation would see any of the vets at the clinic.

Maggie couldn't care less about squirrels. My wife yelling, "Squirrel!" yields zero results, unlike when we had the two Maltese and the Chihuahua. They were all over that. Now, if the beagle mix shoves her nose into Maggie's butt or ear, it's ON. She really doesn't like that.

Our rescue Amstaff Terrier goes mental at the vet, complete anxiety basket case. Just being in exam room with my wife or myself is enough to turn her into quivering mass. Trazadone to the rescue every time.

Cool, I see good ratings. If you remember tell me what you think after making a couple of loafs. We sometimes get poor results but think it's related to either the brand of flour or that we didn't let the yeast come to room temp.

Back from the vet. Quinn has his back turned to me. Maybe he'll get over his mad when his pain pill kicks in.
Heart sounds good which is always good news with this breed.
In a month or so it will be time to take the other two in.

Ordering accessories and a nonstick liner for my 3-quart Instant pot. I'm such a nutsch. I ordered a new large, plastic cutting board, but decided that I couldn't live without the expensive wooden one, either. Then I looked for a red silicone steamer basket for the 3-quart cooker. Not finding one, I ordered the Joseph Joseph plastic, folding steamer insert. Then I found a red silicone one. I decided that I need both.

You ever check up on the status of a package and find out that it’s somehow at a USPS facility in Southern Louisiana and a post office near Chicago at the same time? Because it looks like the half-crown I ordered a couple days ago has somehow ended up bilocating.

Nope, but I had another package stolen. Three packages in three months. Fortunately it was only a $10 watch, but this is starting to piss me off.

The FEDEX/Kinko's near me has lockers. It might be a pain in the ass for you, though, to have to travel for a package. We seem to be fortunate, in that we haven't had any packages stolen. It must be the surveillance cameras. Those were put up to stop one of our neighbors from vandalizing our property, though.

My heart has now been officially donated to medical research.
Let's be honest. My entire collection has.
