What's everyone up to right now?

I'm kinda bummed. We were suppose to get 4-6 inches of snow, woke up to just a dusting.

Had the same problem over the weekend.

Yikes. A half-season ticket for our local minor league baseball team, the Saints, is $500. I suppose I can swing it. I wasn't planning on buying my graphics card anytime soon anyway. A mini pack of just the Thursday games is only $170 for outfield seats. That's a lot more realistic. Infield seats are pretty cheap, too, I'm just not sure which I prefer. I like being able to see the fielding. Pitching is important, but unless you're right behind home plate, it's hard to gauge a pitch from the stands. (It looks like Sunday is the best option. Other days I'd be up past my bedtime a lot. No free beer with the Sunday package, but sacrifices must be made.)

Has a pro dog handler come out to introduce our dog to our recent rescue. It went really well.

Well that's both disappointing and encouraging. Saints ticket mini pack for all Sunday games works out to $13.75 a game and the regular price is $15. That's a total savings of only $15, which would be lost if you miss even one game. I think buying tickets each month makes more sense. No upfront cost, and I can change the section I sit in if I want. If I want to sit closer to home plate, I can see if it's worth the money.

Done working for the week. Going to curl up on the couch with the dogs and a quilt as the wind chill is in the low 20s and rain/sleet wintry mix mess is expected all afternoon. The wind is blowing like crazy and this old house is not exactly warm. Going to find something to watch and maybe even nap a bit.

Looking up poutine recipes and ordering single-serving casserole dishes. I enjoy cooking for my friend Tom when he visits and I thought I'd try this Canadian dish some time soon.

Just finished shaving Zig down. Gave him a bath a couple days ago but then it got cold again. He looks five pounds lighter.

It's supposed to warm up in the next few days so I can bathe the old one and the wimpy one and then get them groomed up.
