For once Amazon Alexa alerted me to a deal I actually wanted. They had a lightning deal for an 11-inch carving knife with a Granton edge, marked down from $26 to $22. It's got an 80% five-star review rating, too.

Just gave Karma a bath but I'm pretty sure I got more wet than she did. The shower sprayer got away from me.
One more bath in the next day or two...Quinn's already hiding.

Having not worn them in twenty years, it will take getting used to again. It definitely is a bit loud, being able to hear properly again.

Decided to work an extra shift tonight.
I know, I know, you say yes once and they expect it all the time in the future.
But they were already bothering me with texts every week about wanting me to come in, so ignoring the texts in the future isn't a problem. If I am feeling charitable that week, I can decide for myself if I want to pick up an extra shift.
Anywho, I will get to meet this overbearing nurse I keep hearing about. Never met her because she doesn't work weekends and I'm scheduled to only work weekends.

I put a batch of chicken Tikka Masala in the slow cooker before I left for Maplewood. All this time I've been eager to get home and dig in, completely forgetting that it will take 50 minutes to cook the rice once I get home. All I can do for now is drool and wait for the rice cooker to beep, alerting me to the fact that satisfaction is finally at hand.
