Officially part of the Shiftmed agency. Now I just need to wait for my employee badge to be mailed to me before I can start working.

Just finished off KC strips and loaded baked po-ta-toes. I feel food coma coming on.

Congrats! I hope this is a better fit for you.

Changed my mind about the power supply. It's an excellent unit for $145, but given that it will likely last me 10 years, there's no reason to compromise based on price. There's a considerably better PSU for $220-270, a Seasonic. I've basically used nothing but Seasonic power supplies for 15 years and I see no reason to change. Besides, I don't need a new power supply until the holidays at the end of the year when a lot of things will be on sale.

Drinking Wild Turkey and coke. Just got back from a farewell dinner with friende, after a relaxing beach retreat at an amazing remote beach resort. No cell service, extremely spotty WiFi, hammocks, views of amazing pristine golden sand beaches. I will not tell another soul where this place is.

I had $100 to burn, so I went to BevMo and bought a 1.75L bottle of Wild Turkey 101 for 44.95,
with the membership discount. A few days later I was at Costco and saw that same size bottle for $34.95. 8^( Sadder to say, I have issues that are going to require quitting alcohol, altogether.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Putting together my list for building a new PC this winter. I'm at $1800 without any extras, like the CPU cooler. That looks like I can come in under budget ($2000).

Finishing the specs on my projected PC build. I'm a couple of hundred dollars over at $2200, but that's close enough.
