Watching baseball and making sloppy joes. There are some days that not having fingers is a royal pain in the ass. I installed a motherboard in a case at noon, figuring it would take about 30 minutes. An hour later I was done. Five of the nine standoffs were right up against the edge of the case, making it virtually impossible to get them started by hand. After some failed attempts, I devised a way to get them started but it still took a long time. I was tempted to throw the case and get one without that problem, but after spending money on this one, I was stubborn. When they remodeled the apartments I threw out an excellent case with a removable motherboard tray. I wish I had that case now.

I know, right? We get different actors for Batman, James Bond, Superman…why the hell don’t they just go ahead and recast Indy? I think the world of Harrison Ford and all, but c’mon - he’s nearly eighty.

Finally sitting down. I haven't even eaten today. What a day.

The cabinet I ordered was delivered today. So I had to move furniture out of the office/sewing room and give it a good cleaning. I went to bring it in the house, there were two boxes...tall boxes and heavy. Managed to get the first one in the house then when to get the taller one....it fell (slowly thankfully) onto my foot trapping my foot on the threshold. I tried moving the box off my foot with no luck...my husband wasn't due home for about four hours so I figured this is how it ends.

Mustered up more strength and managed to get the damn box off my foot and into the house. After getting the boxes in the house I saw the little bitty warning sticker that said the boxes weighed over 70 pounds each - fuck, I only weigh about 120. So now I am deadlifting over half my weight - I'm old and fragile - WTF! In the unpacking process I got a nice cut on my hand...thankfully I am not on blood thinners any more so I didn't bleed to death. By the time husband got home I was at the part in assembling the roughly 857 pieces that two people were definitely needed to finish the job.

Put a bunch of my sewing stuff in it and have a bit more to go through tomorrow. Some of it will definitely be going into the trash.

But the office looks so much nicer now and I was able to take personal stuff from my work cabinet and move it into my new cabinet so there's a little more sense of organization.

Tomorrow I will try to get all that done and also dismantle the gigantic dog crate that had been my sewing storage.

I am too damn old for shit like this.
