Thanks. Shes back now and x-rays indicate what appears to be a detached bone/cartilage chip in the shoulder. Off to the local ortho surgeon tomorrow for conformation. If confirmed then she will need surgery.

Thankfully we have insurance.

Oh gosh...probably like you, I went from kids' injuries and ailments to the furkids' injuries and ailments.

Hope all turns out okay.  Even for a simple dental procedure I worry myself to a frazzle with the pups.

That's a tempting idea. We gave our spaniel half a pill to calm her down so that the vet could sedate her without getting bit. She's terrified of the vet, and doesn't like anyone wearing scrubs. She needs her nails trimmed, along with all those long toe hairs.

Husband has a prescription for himself.  He calls it his sleeping medicine.  As quickly as it works on him, at that dose, it'd kill me.

Just heard from my doctor (didn’t have to go to the office). My test results are back, showed nothing amiss. The weight loss has stopped.

I was down to 106 - and still I was getting weight loss texts and emails.  They don't do a real good job of finding the correct market group.

'You can lose 50 pounds in just weeks.'  Really, if I lost 50 pounds, I would no longer throw a shadow.

I am up to a hefty 123.

My baseball habit is turning out to be more expensive than I anticipated. I've got food/drink to buy for two more games this month but I've already spent my budget. Saturday's ticket was $6. Food and drinks? $25.

Preparing to flash the firmware of some disks. I pulled my old Core 2 Duo system off the shelf, stuck a graphics card in it, and it booted right up. That machine hasn't been used regularly in 9 years. Not bad for a 14-year-old system.
