Looking over the first batch of property assessments our agent sent us. Trying to design a custom aviary for my breeding flock that can fit inside of the trailer I already have - so I don't have to try and pod them or pay for live transport.
Came here to do right by the place I was born. Gonna leave without having ever accomplished that goal. I'd been toying with the idea for awhile, but The Wife refuses to raise her daughters here anymore. Says I'm a one-off. Love that bitch.

Just got a jury summons for the month of June. Have to call every week day at 5PM for the month.
My wife is pissed, she wanted to be selected.

Actually serving on a jury is pretty cool. The selection process is a fecking nightmare.

Sewing, sewing, sewing. I made a couple pillows to match the quilt I finished a few days ago and in the last few day have cut out 420 pieces of fabric for another quilt. Need to get motivated to get the backing put on the two quilt tops that are finished...but I have to be in the right mood to do that. It's my least favorite part of the process.

Donating plasma. I had a lot of difficulty donating on Monday. They had to adjust the needle three times. It normally takes 50-65 minutes, it took 84 minutes on Monday. So I switched arms today to give that arm a rest. I think the needles in a little crooked today, but it seems to have settled into a good spot after some minutes.

The only drawback to donating with my left arm is that it often goes numb in the last 20 minutes of my donation. That could be a reaction to the anticoagulant they pump in, but given it only happens on one side, I'm pretty sure it's not. It's just something screwy with the way I hold my arm or my body when I use that arm. For some reason it's started going numb much earlier today. What a pain.
