What's everyone up to right now?

Packing. I started a month long sabbatical from work yesterday. Tomorrow we're heading to Southern Oregon for few days, then Central Oregon for a few more, then to Portland to see Jack White, and then to North Cascades National Park and Kelowna BC. After that, we don't know, playing it by ear.

I won't be donating plasma again today. My latest blood test won't be processed before noon tomorrow. I've been meaning to make chicken fajitas for several days. This will give me the time to do that.

Day started early - was grooming the dogs by 7:30 am. Cleaned their water fountain out and changed the filter, baked up some bacon and made scrambled eggs and biscuits as well as cornbread for the parrots. Painted my toenails and did some other odds and ends. Just sat down to chill for a while but daughter has this weird 6th sense about that and called almost as soon as my butt hit the couch saying she's on her way over. Guess my nap will be postponed for a bit.

In other news, finally filling the pool. We had so much wind and rain and so much crap blew into the pool that we drained it a few weeks back...starting over seemed like the best idea.

Been shuffling files around all afternoon and researching a possible upgrade to my LAN. I need to do some definitive speed tests to see if the LAN would benefit by bumping up to 2.5 Gbps.

Memorial Day has come and gone and I only bought one sale item, and that was a Newegg daily special.

Budgeting. Primarily filling in the details for this month and projecting forward to the end of the year. I'm a bit short because I didn't donate last week and I spent all my plasma money on miscellaneous PC parts.
