Posting on FB, asking if people know about any kind of portable misting machine. I was at a soccer tourney at UC-Riverside one time and it topped out at 107F/42C. The Riverside AMTRAK people put on a mister above the bench while I waited for the train back to San Diego.

I finally got caught up on the Game of Thrones books. Just finished reading A Dance With Dragons.

I'm a terrible person and haven't read the books. I tried when I was in high school but the POV changes kept throwing me, then I tried again a couple years ago but I couldn't stick with them, then I got the first book on audiobook and would tune it out whenever I would listen to it... Maybe it was the narrator;

Also *Spoiler-cheat* you can just check the names of the chapters and see that some characters don't get killed, at least, until then... so you can rest assured that while you read the first chapters, the character doesn't die.

Status of my depression: Well, I actually DID something today, so that's progress. It didn't require me to get out of bed, though. I don't know if I could do that yet. I still just have no energy or motivation whatsoever.
