Had another episode of a bloke trying to get into my flat. This time, he wasn't buzzing my buzzer. Oh no. He had somehow gained access to the building and was banging directly on my front door and kitchen window. Scared the living shit out of me. No idea who he was, but I was standing in my hallway with a knife listening to him telling someone on the phone that there's a light on so someone must be in. I felt it best to pretend I wasn't there.
He eventually gave up and left after about 5 minutes, and this was nearly an hour now. But fuck, I can't get back to sleep.

One of our presidents once said to speak softly and carry a big stick. A 30.06 (Thirty Aught Six) gently sliding out the window to deliver a "Do Not Disturb" message would fit that quite well in my opinion.

I just got back from being out to dinner with my friends. I was going to stay out a bit longer, but they wanted to go dancing. Not in the mood. lol Kinda tired.

Then, logged in here, and as I'm reading through a few threads, I'm wondering why Christians come here to ''preach?'' I mean, I get it. But, it makes me want to show up at a church tomorrow, and start passing out literature on Agnosticism. Think they'd let me?

Yeah. Really why? I'm sure there are several reasons. Some people are on that religious high that you get sometimes. I experienced that a few times. Some, maybe they feel like they are doing something noble by naively bringing information to those they don't think have ever received that info, some, the messiah complex sort *cough, cough, GC, cough* probably are emulating the Christ story of preaching the good word surrounded by iniquity.

As an atheist I never get an atheist high to go tell people about atheism.

The closest I ever get is when there has been some big new discovery about human evolution that blows my mind and I'm dancing around like a kid in a candy store. I'd like to stop every random person I walk past and discuss it, but I have some sense of self-control.
