Then, logged in here, and as I'm reading through a few threads, I'm wondering why Christians come here to ''preach?''

I'm sure they're just satisfying their social needs like anyone else. I'm not atheist, but I like discussing the same things that preoccupy atheists, so it's a good watering hole. I originally got on this path because I was depressed, and focused on reading arguments against creationism to cheer me up. The discussion topics are common to me and atheists, so it's a good fit. Theists of a certain sort also like wrangling about faith and belief; I'm sure it's less motivated by a desire to proselytize than it is just something they enjoy talking about.

LOL ,they blocked the site at your work place ?!! ppl can be so insecure . If they believe that whatever they're saying is making sense and true , then why are they blocking the other opinions ??

I work in The Navy...they block EVERYTHING.

My employer blocks AF as well, but they depend on our provider to determine what to block based on business purpose.

I was in three different hospitals on several occasions over the last couple of years - all of them blocked AF based on it being categorized as an occult site.

I LOLed.

(Fortunately, they couldn't block it when I tethered to my mobile phone.)
