Deciding if I should just sleep the day away or do something constructive. Those vaccinations are kicking my butt. I guess I had forgotten you could hurt so many places at the same time. Still better than catching the flu or COVID....I guess.

Feeling a lot better. I can still feel where the shots went in but only if I touch those areas.
I was up really, really early and stayed up a while (a little over an hour) because Ziggy was on the hunt and wouldn't come in. Got breakfast early and took a morning nap with the pups. Spent some time sweating and then that stopped. Maybe the Naproxen I took was the remedy required. Anyway, effects set in quickly but lasted a bit over 24 hours. Don't feel too bad now.

Feeling old is hearing the organ at a baseball game play Blister In The Sun.

Baseball is too headache today. I need a light, thoughtless diversion to help pass the time until my current troubles are resolved. But I'll probably watch the game anyway. I can't help myself.

I went to pull a recently acquired bottle of soda and realized that I had several sampler bottles of gin that I'd long ago deposited in the mini-fridge in anticipation of doing a taste test. It's early yet today, but I've never been one to hold strictly to the idea that there is anything wrong with drinking of a morning, so I'm imbibing. I generally don't drink of a morning just as a concession to convention. Anyway, first up is New Amsterdam gin. It's fine, as far as it goes, but fairly innocuous with no strong or remarkable notes, but perhaps that's the point of chilling gin. Next up is Tanqueray. I don't have a sample of Beefeater gin, which is unfortunate for the purposes here, and I probably should have waited until I could add that to the set. Oh well. Too late now.

Going to make some burger patties to cook later and then find my way out of the living room where football will rule the day.
Maybe I can find something interesting to watch or listen to while I cut fabric for a new project.

It’s American football season again already? How time flies - doesn’t seem like it’s been a whole year since I ignored it.

My favorite part of the year is when football season and NASCAR season overlap. Mostly I am required to furnish batteries for the poor abused remote.
